This will be the fourth adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel starring Richard Armitage. Here’s a polished and edited version of your update: I just watched all five episodes. I wasn’t too keen on it by the second episode, but decided to watch it all the way through. Cohen’s adaptations seem to follow a pattern of largely unrelated or overly complicated narrative threads that all come together neatly in the final episode. While the previous ones were pretty good, this one felt really weak in comparison. There wasn’t much of a plot to this one, and all the « aha » moments were crammed into the last episode, which is typical Cohen from what I’ve seen. The acting was okay and the characters weren’t terrible, but the story wasn’t compelling or engaging. It felt more like a matter of just getting to the end. I wouldn’t say don’t watch it, but if you have other options lined up, I’d definitely put them before this one.
